School Application<\/h2>\n
Welcome and thank you very much for applying to the Nakayoshi Preschool.<\/p>\n
Please fill out the registration form in the school office. If there is no available space, please bring the application form into the office. It costs $30 to place your child on the waiting list. This fee is non-refundable. Please call for further assistance.<\/p>\n

THE SYSTEM<\/h2>\n
The Preschool has adopted the combined system of preschool and daycare. All our children learn through play and our age-appropriate curriculum in the morning. In the afternoon, they eat lunch, take a nap, and do afternoon activities (e.g. listen to the teacher reading books, draw pictures, etc.)<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The Nakayoshi Preschool starts in September and ends June. We accept new students throughout the year. Summer session starts Mid-June and ends August.<\/p>\n

2. PROGRAM<\/h3>\n
All the classes are held in Japanese.<\/p>\n
Children experience human relations (listening teachers, learning get along with others, sharing, cooperating, problem solving, etc.). Children are exposed to music, rhythm expression, arts and crafts and physical exercise through various tools and methods.<\/p>\n

4. STUDENT ACCIDENT INSURANCE<\/h3>\n
Student Accident Insurance is purchased by the Gardena Buddhist Church.
